Michelle is recognized by Apraxia Kids for Advanced Training and Expertise in Childhood Apraxia of Speech. She has a background in speech-language pathology in private practice, public schools, outpatient services and home health services. She has a special interest in childhood apraxia of speech to help children with severe unintelligibility learn to communicate. Michelle's passion is helping children build their communication "superpowers" to give them the ability to functionally communicate their wants and needs at home and in their community. Michelle enjoys camping with her husband and kiddos on the weekend and traveling to new places!

Janet has a background in speech-language pathology in public schools, private practice, inpatient and outpatient services, acute care and long-term acute care health services. She has a special interest in social communication disorders to help children navigate the hidden social rules. Janet's passion is helping children and adults build their communication skills to give them the power to build and maintain social relationships. In her spare time, Janet enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and, DIY and woodworking projects.

Maria Calloway

Maria has a background in speech-language pathology in public schools, rehabilitation facilities, private practice, skilled nursing facilities, and home health services. As a result of receiving speech therapy as a child, Maria has an interest in helping children who have articulation disorders, especially post frenectomy surgery. She is passionate about helping children improve their communication ability which has a strong impact on their overall quality of life. Maria will tell anyone that without speech therapy as a child, her educational, community, and social involvement could have been much different. In her personal life, Maria enjoys running, drinking coffee, and taking beach trips with her husband and four children.

Genevie has experience working in home health settings, public schools, and private practice. Genevie enjoys speech pathology because she's able to make a difference and touch people's lives. Genevie has worked with patients with autism, ADHD, childhood apraxia, learning disabilities, and articulation errors. Genevie’s special interests/passion include research on how bilingualism affects phonological acquisition and studying linguistics. In her spare time, Genevie enjoys dancing, culture travel, and spending quality time with her family.

Meredith Fredline

Meredith has experience working in the pediatric home health and private practice settings. She enjoys speech-language pathology because she loves helping children discover and expand their abilities to communicate. Meredith has worked with patients with articulation disorder, language delay/disorder, autism, and other genetic syndromes. Meredith’s special interests/passion include early language therapy with children ages 0-3. In her spare time, Meredith enjoys going on walks and playing at the park with her husband and two little boys.

Brandee Shropshire

Practice Manager

Brandee worked in the physician staffing and credentialing industry for 14 years before deciding to stay at home with her children.  When the need for speech therapy arose for her youngest child Gavin, she reached out to Northeast Speech Pathology for services.  Once her child graduated, she applied for and received the position as Practice Manager.  She is often quoted as saying “Our family loves Michelle and Northeast Speech so much they were stuck with us one way or another.”
